For those who are familiar with the lifestyles of public office holders in Nigeria, one would understand that they are a golden fish which has no hidden place.

This explains the prominence giving to them by the media, which is largely due to their political weight and importance to the society.

For someone like the National Leader of the APC in Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, his absence on an auspicious day of Eid-el-Kabir speaks volume.

Tuesday July 20 was celebrated across the globe as the festival of sacrifice known as eid-el-Adha or eid-el-Kabir, and the former Lagos State Governor was not in the news.

The Precision NG observed that no picture of the APC National Leader was available online or any of his social media pages, where he attended the Eid prayers. Pictures of the traditional visitation to his house by loyalists at Bourdillon Lagos was also not available for public view.

He was only in the news during the festivity period after a press statement signed by him, wherein he admonished Nigerians to pray for President Muhammadu Buhari and their Governors, was reported.

The Precision NG however observed that there had been rumours flying around that the former Lagos Governor reportedly died in Dubai during a brief illness at the weekend. This is however not verifiable.

Recall that he was reportedly dead few months ago in Dubai but Tinubu later shown up in the country with his arrival pictures at the airport circulated on social media.

The whereabout of Tinubu is unknown as at the time of putting this report together, and no official information about him from his media team.
