A leading Governorship Hopeful in Oyo State come 2023, Chief Dr. Azeez Popoola Adeduntan has urged the people of the state to use the Independence Day celebration as a time of sober reflection and time to unite more than before.

Osi Basorun of Ibadan Land Chief Dr. Adeduntan who is the Osi Basorun of Ibadanland and President ACDC (Adeduntan cardiovascular & Diagnostic centre) Ibadan; said this via a statement personally signed by him & issued by his media team, noted that despite numerous challenges, there are still reasons to thank God.
”On this October 1st, 2021, I Congratulate Leaders at all levels of Government and all Nigerians on the occasion of Nigeria’s 61st Independence anniversary.
In 61 years, Nigeria has faced many challenges, but we have overcome many of those challenges and made progress in multiple spheres of human endeavour, though a lot still need to be done,” he said.
“A lot of work still has to be done to overcome the many challenges we still face as a nation such as banditry, terrorism, kidnapping, herdsmen and farmers imbroglio, economic difficulties, youth unemployment ,the gathering clouds of secession, among others.
The founder Dr Azeez Popoola Adeduntan Foundation (DAPAF), NIgeria & the USA,admonished residents of Oyo State to work against violence and all threats to the peace and friendly environment across the state; be proud of their place of birth and desist from acts that are inimical to the continued brotherliness.
The statement said: “On behalf of my immediate family, all members and workforce of Adeduntan Group and the entire supporters across Oyo State, and DIASPORA,I congratulate all Nigerians and my people in Oyo State on the occasion of the 2021 Independence Day celebration.”
Adeduntan assured that come May 29, 2023, with God (the king maker and the sovereign ), as well as the support of well meaning people in the state, everyone will enjoy democracy more as we will expose OYO state to the international community and make oyo state the MECCA of MEDICINE and health care delivery in NIGERIA (a foreign exchange earner), grow IGR , limit federal dependence, limit medical tourism, and capital flight-the Harvard trained board certified Cardiovascular surgeon assured.
