Dfortune Company Donates Educational Materials To Ondo School

As part of its corporate social responsibility, Dfortune Pest Solution Company has donated educational materials to Canaanland Community Primary School located at Ijoka, Akure, Ondo state.

Chief Executive Officer of Dfortune Pest Solution Company, Mr Oluleye Ayodeji noted that the move is to commemorate the 12th anniversary of the company.

He added that the donation was also to honour his late father, Mr Faleye Emmanuel Oluwole who was one of those who facilitated the establishment of the school.

The company distributed 1000 books, 200 school bags, 200 pens, 200 notepads, 200 copies of Rhapsody of Realities devotional book and hand sanitizers.

Mr Oluleye while presenting the materials, noted that the company started 12 years ago in the Canaanland community, said the gesture was to sustain his late father’s legacy.

He promised to give more to the society adding that this would lead to a better Nigeria.

“I feel so happy to sponsor this programme in honour of my great Dad. Our Daddy’s legacy is education. Today, we have come to extend this legacy to Canaanland Community Primary School. And this is just the beginning.

“These pupils are at the lowest cadre of the society and we have come to encourage and help them believe in their future. And we will continue to touch lives at the grassroots.”

He however called on Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu to come to the aid of the school in fixing the dilapidated structure and fast track the reconstruction of the Ijoka road.

Earlier in her welcome address, the school Head Mistress, Mrs Mabel Bello appreciated the Faleye family for deeming it fit to make the donation to the school during the first week of a new session.

The PTA chairman, Mr Alaba Morakinyo who in his remarks appreciated the kind gesture of Mr Oluleye also used the opportunity to advise the general public to use any position they find themslves to extend a helping hand.

Canaanland community leader, Mr Agbara described Mr Oluleye’s gesture as timely and thoughtful. He called on the state government and other corporate bodies to do more for the education sector.

Also speaking at the event, a clergyman at Believers’ Love World popularly known as Christ Embassy, Joseph Ezire who appreciated Mr Oluleye’s benevolence said “as Christians God wants us to lead by example. Christianity is love. Somehow, everyone of us have something to give. We should therefore borrow a leaf by exhibiting Mr Oluleye’s gesture”
