Ace broadcaster and Adaba FM’s on air personality, Titilope Adegolu has announced the commencement of a national essay writing competition for young Nigerians between age 18 and 30.
The competition is tagged the “Titi Adegolu Prize Award for Essay Writing”, and it is the first edition.
Adegolu in a statement made available to The Precision NG on Monday noted that the idea was mooted to encourage young minds to show interest in writing.
“It is a national essay writing competition to encourage writing skills among young persons, a skill which seems to have been relegated among the youths.
“Entries open on Monday November 15th, 2021 and close December 15th 2021. The first position takes home N50, 000 while the second and third positions take home N30,000 and N20,000 respectively,” the statement read.
