Zainab Aliyu, the young Nigerian who was wrongfully accused of smuggling illicit drugs to Saudi Arabia in 2019 and was freed by the Nigerian in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), is now part of the war against illicit drugs trafficking.

Two years after the incident, Zainab is already a Narcotic Officer with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

She was part of the 2,000 newly trained officers who passed out from the NDLEA Academy on Friday, November 19, 2021.

Below is the picture of the visit by the NIDCOM Chairman, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa to the office of NDLEA in June, 2021.
