Reactions and comments are now trailing the demise and passage of the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Alhaji Saliu Adetunji from Akokoland area of Ondo state.

An Osogbo-born Ikare Akoko based 95-year-old record and film dealer, Alhaji Sulamain Omuiyadun who did business with the late Oba Adetunji in the late 60s and early 70s described him as a colossal loss to the industry, commerce and entrepreneurship sector of the country.

Omuiyadun said his establishment of Omo Aje records in those days led to the scouting of musical talents like Wasiu Ayinde, Late Barrister Ayinde, Dauda Epo Akara etc.

He commiserated with entertainment industry and the entire Ibadan community.

Also speaking, an Indigene of Ibadan who is based in Ikare, Dr Fatimo Ibitoye revealed that Ibadan and Nigeria as a whole had lost a leader, a front line monarch in Nigeria.

Dr Ibitoye commiserated with the Governor of Oyo state, Engineer Seyi Makinde and the entire Ibadan.
