Babatunde Faro, an ex investment banker who contested the just concluded primary election by the PDP has congratulated the winner, Olumuyiwa Adu.

Faro in a statement he personally signed on Thursday assured the party leaders that he won’t relent at working for the success of the PDP at the polls.

“I wish to extend my best wishes to the winner of our party”s primaries, Bar. Olumuyiwa Adu and also to the leaders of the People’s Democratic Party ( PDP) in our state. No doubt, the contest has been lost and won but ultimately, the party remains one big family.

“This is the time for us all to come together and mend fences so that we can forge ahead as a party ahead of the bye-elections scheduled to hold February 26th, 2022. On my part, I remain committed to our great party and I am ready to continually give my support towards ensuring that PDP come out strong in Akure Federal Constituency.

“Let me use this opportunity to appreciate all my leaders and supporters for believing in me. This is just the beginning; there is still much roads to be covered and I want to assure you that we remain committed to our aspiration to change the narratives of our people.”
