Non-teaching staff at the University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo under Joint Action Committee (JAC) have announced the commencement of a two-week warning strike.
In a letter obtained by Precision Online Newspaper, which was addressed to the VC of UNIMED, Prof. Adesegun Fatusi, the unions, disclosed that the enforcement of the strike is complete and total.
Similarly, in a chat with Precision Online, Chairman of SSANU, Seyi Abayomi, said the strike action became imperative to demand for the implementation of minimum wage and earn allowance.
