Amid the rumour that the Governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu is dead, the State Government has shared a video of the Governor singing and dancing.
Precision Online Newspaper reports that the less than 60 seconds video shared on Saturday by the Chief Press Secretary, Richard Olatunde, saw Akeredolu, with his Chief of Protocol, Mr Bola Alabi, singing a Yoruba gospel lyrics, “ope lo ye o, Baba olore, iyin lo ye o, Olorun Oba, Hosannah ye o, ose o Baba.”
The lines of the lyrics showed an Akeredolu who was joyous and full of praises to God.
It would be recalled that Akeredolu, left the country for Germany after the APC convention in March, for medical treatment.
Though, his official letter to the Ondo State House of Assembly obtained by the Precision Online Newspaper, showed that the Governor took permission to go on an annual leave.
The rumour about the Governor’s death became rife on Saturday, after a gossip blog posted that Akeredolu has died.
