As part of his social services to humanity, former Member House of Representatives, represented Ondo East and west, Hon Iranola Joseph Akinlaja has again sponsored one of the youths in Ondo city to United kingdom to further his education.
The beneficiary, Victor Olanipekun, former African Democratic Congress (ADC) Vice chairman Ondo East L.G.A chapter while expressing his joy appreciated and commended the gesture of the former lawmaker for making his long time dream of studying abroad come true. Olanipekun conceded he had never seen a good man with big heart like him before.
He added that he started the whole process from the scratch with Hon. Akinlaja immense financial support.
According to him, “I have been hearing of Hon. Akinlaja good deeds in Ondo kingdom, when I started this process he stood with me financially and now that all is set. He has paid for my Business Traveling Allowance (BTA) and flight.”
“I have never seen a leader that will involve in your struggle from the scratch and still give you money at the end, all they do was to assist you after you might have finished all the traveling process, but Hon.Akinlaja style is novel, I must confess”, he said .
To this end, I urge all and sundry to thank him on my behalf.
One of the leaders in the community, Olaolu Oladapo commended the donor for his gesture to improve the well being of the people in the City.
Hon.Akinlaja has been doing wonderfully in the community, he started spending since Victor told him of his plan to further his study abroad. He has done a lot for people without going on air about it.
While reacting, Hon. Iranola Akinlaja disclosed that premium must be paid on education, saying education is the best legacy that can transform our society for good.
“The youths are our future, we must support their education, so that we can have a better society.”
He said: “This is one of my philanthropical activities to humanity, I have done same to many people without making noise about it. I believe God knows how to bless a cheerful giver,” he concluded.
