2023 Election: Be Professional In Your Reportage – Adetimehin Tells NUJ

The leadership of Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ondo State Council on Monday, 25th April, 2022 paid the Chairman of Ondo State All Progressives Congress (APC), Engr Ade Adetimehin a courtesy visit.

The team led by the Chairman, Prince Leke Adegbite while describing Engr Adetimehin as a friend of the media industry and members of the union, acknowledged his support to the Union and members over the years, while also urging him not to relent in sustaining his support.

Responding, Engr. Adetimehin flanked by the Party’s Publicity Secretary, Mr Alex Kalejaye while congratulating the new leadership again for scaling through electioneering process said election is such a tough process whether its for political or on unionism ground.

While expressing delight at the smooth leadership transition process at Ondo NUJ, Engr Adetimehin expressed his wishes to the new administration for a successful tenure in office.

The APC Chairman also called for total support of journalists in reportage of matters that affect the party, while also urging them to always be professional in handling political issues as the 2023 general election draws nearer rather than making scandalous headlines from pitfalls.
