Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC)in Ondo State, Engr. Ade Adetimehin has said the death of Lady Evangelist Grace Abosede Akeredolu came at the appointed time.
Adetimehin in a statement signed by Alex Kalejaye, Publicity Secretary of the APC in the State, said mama lead an exemplary life that is worthy of emulation.
“It is gratifying to note that mama devoted quality time building the children, in their formative years, who grew to be successful in different human endeavors. They were sources of joy to her while she was around,” the APC chieftain added.
He commiserated with the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, and all his siblings, urging them to be consoled by the rewarding life of the departed.
Praying God to grant mama eternal rest, Adetimehin noted that the Anglican Communion has lost a strong pillar in it’s quest for godly disposition.

The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP for the Ondo North Senatorial District in the forthcoming 2023 general elections, Akogun Adetokunbo Modupe has commiserated with the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN on the demise of his dear mother, Lady Evangelist Grace Bosode Akeredolu.
In a statement signed by his spokesperson and Head of Media, Wale Obanigba Esq, Akogun said he received Mama’s death with shock just few months after she celebrated her 90th birthday.
He said, “Mama is an example of a good Mother who dedicated her whole life to the service of God and humanity, and raising of children who have made an impact in their individual endeavours.”
He said further, “though mama passes at the ripe age of 90, Governor Akeredolu and the entire family will surely miss mama’s love, wise counsel and support”. He admonished them to take solace in God who mama served with dedication, commitment and good legacies she left behind.
Ondo NOA boss commiserates Gov. Akeredolu over loss of Mum
The State Director of Ondo NOA, Mrs Adelayo Adefolalu has commiserated with the Governor of Ondo state Arakunrin Odunayo Akeredolu over the demise of his mother describing the sudden death as shocking and a big colossal loss to the first family and the state.
In a press statement personally signed by the NOA director and made available to newsmen in Akure on Thursday described the late Evangelist Akeredolu as one who devoted her time to the service God and humanity.
Mrs Adefolalu revealed that, the matriarch exit was painful, but the fact that, she lived to witness the successes of her children who rose to the peak of their careers was fulfilling.
She extols the deceased as a mother whose life is worthy of emulation by all and sundry. Hence, praying her an eternal rest for a life well spent and job well done for mothering warriors and champions.
“Our joy and solace is in the fulfilled life Mama spent as we believe her demise is a glorious call to rest unto the bossom of our creator.”
She therefore wished the governor and the first family the fortitude to bear the huge loss whilst admonishing they take solace in fulfilled and exemplary life she has spent.
