Jos Electricity Distribution Company Assures Customers Of Improved Power Supply

Electricity power supply will soon increase in Benue, Plateau, Bauchi and Gombe to achieve public and corporate transformations.

The new Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the Jos Electricity Distribution Company, JEDC, Engineer Abdu Bello Muhammed made this known in Jos, the Plateau State Capital.

Speaking to Journalists, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer JED, Engineer Abdu Bello Muhammed assured of high performance in transforming and repositioning the company for efficient service delivery.

Engineer Abdu Bello explained efforts to improve power supply distribution would increase by moving eighty percent of their customers to band ‘A’.

He promised to set up a rapid response team that would address any faults, and they would be empowered to work twenty-four hours to satisfy customers and ensure compliance with the regulator’s stipulated demands and expectations.

The Chief Executive Officer urged the staff of the Company to eschew conflict of interest in the course of their duties.

He further called on patriotic citizens and the media to serve as whistleblowers on both activities of the staff of the company and customers who attempt to sabotage its services and operations.

He sued for cooperation and understanding of staff towards statutory performance targets.
