Olujare Stool: Education Is My Priority For Ijare – Prince Adegboyegun

One of the major contenders for the exalted Obaship stool of Olujare, Prince (Dr.) Adebolujo Adegboyegun has promised to prioritize education of the sons and daughters of the community if he eventually becomes an Oba.


Adegboyegun disclosed this while speaking with journalists during the celebration of this year’s Ijare Day held at the weekend.


The event that attracted people from all walks of life, was held at Anglican Grammar School field Ijare under the leadership of Mr. Akin Oluwole, president of Egbe Omo Elewe-Obi.


In his words: “We thank God for his grace and opportunity to celebrate this year edition of Ijare Day and we are doing this particular one with launching of the building of new palace, people came from far and near to celebrate with us.


He said education has been the focus of the community and that he would encourage it as the bedrock of development.


“We will encourage education up to PhD levels, not only this; I will look into the area of security. This is because if any society must thrive security of lives and property is very sacrosanct.


He pointed out that the uplift of Olujare stool will afford the community opportunity to sit among the comity of leading towns in Ondo State and that it would fast tract the development of the community.


One of his friends, Mr. Busayo Ayiloge described Prince Adebolujo Adegboyegun as a round peg in a round hole and that they should join hands with him to move the community forward.


Ayiloge also called on the people of the community to seize the unique opportunity of the celebration to see what can be done for the advancement of their country home apart from the merriment.
