The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Prof. Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, on Saturday, December 10 commissioned a computer based test (CBT) centre, named after him at Achievers University, Owo, Ondo State.
The commissioning of the building is part of the activities marking the 12th convocation and 15th anniversary of the University.
The new building according to the Pro-Chancellor of Achievers University, Owo, Dr Bode Ayorinde, became imperative owing to the need to provide a CBT centre for students who will be writing professional examinations of Nursing and Medical Laboratory Science Departments, as well as the General Studies.
Earlier, Prof. Ibrahim Pantami commissioned the new College of Social and Management Sciences (COSMAS).
Dignitaries present at the commissioning include; the former speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon. Yakubu Dogara who is the Chancellor of the University and the Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC), Prof. Abubakar Adamu Rasheed.
