There was a massive crowd of excited supporters and party faithful that halted vehicular movement for several hours in Ondo kingdom on Wednesday, as the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) held its 2023 campaign rally for Ondo East and West.
The rally, which had the Ondo state Chairman of PDP, members of the State Working Committee, prominent leaders and eminent personalities, started from Bolorunduro in Ondo East all the way down to Laje.
Candidates running for various offices in the forthcoming general elections were presented to the already charged crowd.
The Chairman said all the candidates have proven track records. They include Chief Ifedayo Adedipe SAN, Senatorial candidate for Ondo Central, Dr Felix Kehinde (DFK), House of Representatives candidate for Ondo East/West Federal Constituency, Hon. Tomide Akinribido, House of Assembly candidate for Ondo West Constituency 1, Hon. Akinola Akinjiyan, House of Assembly candidate for Ondo West Constituency 2 and Chief Raymond Olafusi House of Assembly candidate for Ondo East.
Speaking on behalf of others, Dr Felix Kehinde, a medical specialist who was recognized by Queen Elizabeth II for his outstanding contribution to his community in the United Kingdom community, urged Ondo people to come out enmasse on February 25 and March 11 to cast their votes for all candidates of PDP so the state and the country at large can reclaim its lost glory.
