Financial Autonomy Implementation For Legislature, Judiciary Has Come To Stay – ODHA

Ondo State House of Assembly says the implementation of financial autonomy for the legislative and judicial arms of government will come to fruition.

The House stated this while receiving the Chief Judge of the State, Justice Olusegun Odusola and his team who paid a courtesy visit to the hallowed Chamber in Akure.

The Speaker, Olamide Oladiji while welcoming the Chief Judge and other Judges on behalf of the other Lawmakers, appreciated them for taking time out to visit the house, assuring that the two arms will continue to work in synergy to achieve their set goals.

According to the Speaker, the House will not hesitate to support the judiciary where necessary to further fastrack development in the sector.

Earlier,The Deputy Speaker, Abayomi Akinruntan appreciated the team for the cordial relationship with the house, noting that the visit will further boost the relationship between the two arms.

The Majority Leader, Oluwole Ogunmolasuyi noted that the House will not hesitate to adopt new method that can add value to the system, maintaining that the success of the three arms will be of great benefits to people of the State.

Also, the Chairman House Committee on Judiciary, Stephen Abitogun who said Justice is key to the development of the State, assured that the House will collaborate with the judiciary to boost the system.

The Chief Judge while addressing the leadership of the House congratulated the Speaker, other Principal officers and Members on their inauguration.

Justice Odusola who acknowledged the separation of power of other arms, posited that collaboration and cooperation of the two arms will go a long way to fastrack the full implementation of financial Autonomy and other set objectives.
