ILELABO COMMUNITY ASSOCIATIONS THANK GOVERNOR OLUWAROTIMI ODUNAYO AKEREDOLU, SAN, CON, ON THE CREATION OF ILELABO LCDA
The undersigned socio-cultural groups in Ilelabo comprising Ifira, Ipesi and Sosan are using this medium to express our profound gratitude to the Ondo State Government led by Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN, CON for the creation of Ilelabo Local Council Development Authority (LCDA) out of the present Akoko South East Local Government Area.
The creation of LCDAs by the Akeredoluled administration is unprecedented in the annals of the chequered political history of Ondo State.
We are happy that the creation of the Ilelabo LCDA will accelerate development and transformation in major sectors in Ifira, Ipesi and Sosan towns which have suffered much neglect in the hands of previous administrations in the State.
It is our hope that the abundant natural resources in Ilelabo LCDA will be fully harnessed for the benefit of our people.
We also want to thank the State Government for siting the administrative headquarters of the proposed Ilelabo LCDA in Ifira-Akoko because the community is accessible to all the major towns in the new LCDA due to its strategic location.
We will remain eternally grateful to all our political leaders, traditional rulers, opinion leaders, youth associations, women groups and other socio-cultural organizations in the three ancient towns of Ifira, Sosan and Ipesi for their prayers and unalloyed supports which ensured that Ilelabo LCDA became a reality.
While we pledge our total support for the smooth take off of the new LCDA, we pray for the quick recovery of our amiable Governor and his return to his duty post soon.
