Ondo Amotekun Boss, Akogun Adeleye Commends NAWOJ, Promises Partnership With Association

Nigerian women have been advised to strike a balance between their home and career so as to raise children that will bring honour to them.

The Ondo state Commander of the Southwest Security Network, codenamed Amotekun, Akogun Adetunji Adeleye, gave the advice in his office while playing host to the Executive members of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, Ondo state chapter led by its Chairperson, Comrade Tola Gbadamosi.

Akogun Adeleye attributed the high rate of crime and immoral acts now rampant among the youths to lack of parental guide, urging parents especially mothers to be alive to their responsibilities in other to have a crime free society.

The Amotekun boss commended women journalists in ondo state for carrying out their duties diligently and professionally even as he advised them not to jettison their home for their career but ensure they maintain a balance between the two.

He expressed the readiness of Amotekun Corps in partnering NAWOJ to further nip crime in the bud in the sunshine state.

Akogun Adeleye congratulated the new executive members of the association noting that NAWOJ passion for women and children was being noticed and pledged the support of his agency to the association.

Earlier, The chairperson of NAWOJ in Ondo state, Comrade Tola Gbadamosi had said the visit was to strengthen the existing robust relationship between the association and Amotekun Corps in the state.

Comrade Gbadamosi commended the agency for its giant strides in ensuring that crime rate in Ondo reduce drastically.

During the visit, the NAWOJ executives presented award of excellence to Akogun Adeleye in appreciation of his invaluable contributions to the security sector in Ondo state.
