Six Months After Foundation Laying, Ifedore Chairman, Oladimeji Delivers Legislative Building For Commissioning

A new legislative building for Councilors in Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State has been commissioned.

Precision Online reports that the foundation for the construction of the building was laid on February 15, 2023.

The commissioning which at the Local Government Secretariat in Igbara-Oke was done by the Olowa of Igbaraoke, HRM Oba Adefarakanmi Agbede.

Chairman of the Council, Engr Alex Oladimeji, fnse, appreciated the Governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for creating an enabling environment for development to be achieved in the State.

“There has been a robust relationship between the political and career officers in the Local Government which in no mean measure he contributed to the achievements sonfsr recorded by our administration,” Oladimeji said.

The Ijare-born politician observed that the construction of the legislative building, will further strengthen the relationship that exists between the Local Government Executives and the Legislative arm.

“Today’s occasion is unique as the edifice will create conducive atmosphere for our legislators and it will also boost their morale in carrying out their official duties which invariably affects the welfare and wellbeing of the indigenes of the Local Government,” he added.

The colorful event was also symbolic as the movers and shakers of Ifedore Local Government were present to honour Hon. Alex Oladimeji.

Some of the dignitaries are; Col. Olubodun Apata (rtd), Pastor Olaitan Adigun, Chief Kayode Omojokun, Hon. Mrs Toyin Adu and Mr. Dare Boboye.

Others are Mr. Kunle Adu, Hon. Haruna Lawal, Barr. Oriola Sesan, Representative of Honourable Commissioner for Energy, Engr. Razaq Obe and Representative of the State party Chairman, Hon Ade Adetimehin.

The Vice chairman of the council, Hon Ajikiola Sogo, Secretary to the Local Government, Barr. Awoseye Collins and Councillors of the 10 wards in Ifedore LG as well as staff of the Council.
