An Idanre born philanthropist, Engr. Benson Ajisegiri with some friends, is set to launch a not-for-profit organization, Engineer Benson Ajisegiri Foundation (EBAF).
The vision of EBAF is to ensure every child in Idanre LGA of Ondo State has access to inclusive and qualitative education and to promote educational development in Idanre.
The launching will take place on Thursday, 21st September 2023 at Goshen Trust Hotel, St. Joseph Street, Isalu, Odode-Idanre from 2pm prompt.
Engr Ajisegiri, while speaking with newsmen in Idanre said EBAF scholarship will be in phases and categories, with continuous upgrade as approved by the Board of Trustees of the Foundation.
There are three categories of scholarship lined for beneficiaries ranging from EBAF Science Award that is designed for best three science students in JSS3, based on performance in the annual Junior Secondary School (JSS) Examination to be conducted for all JSS3 students by WAEC or NECO.
The second category is the EBAF Excellence Award designed for Senior Secondary School Students with distinction in WAEC/NECO results.
The third category is the EBAF Undergraduate Award designed to support brilliant but indigent undergraduates through EBAF Scholarship Scheme for school fees at any Government University in Nigeria.
Engr Benson Ajisegiri is expected to use the opportunity of the ooccasion to do a Public Presentation of his Autobiography titled “Public Service By Grace”.
