The time for healing is now in Ondo state. This time, the Elders should get more seriously involved. This moment will not yield its results if left for the youths.
The disagreement in the corridor of power has not been palatable to the state. The youths has been instigated to wrestle with themselves, all because the elders are silent. Things cannot continue this way. A Yoruba adage says “Agba ki wa Loja ki Ori omo tuntun wo”.
We call on Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, we call on Hon Lucky Ayedatiwa, we call again on Pa Fasoranti, we call on Pa Solomon Oladunni, We call on the Deji of Akure, we call on The Abodi of Ikale, The Osemawe of Ondo, The Olowo of Owo, The Olugbo of Ugbo. We call on the Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria, Ondo state, The Chief Imam of Muslim Council, and all our highly respected Leaders and Elders, to please rise up.
This is gradually becoming a war. War is when Elders who know and hate each others or are made to hate each other relax, while youths who does not hate themselves are made to fight and kill themselves.
Let this war in the corridor of power in Ondo State stop now. We have more reasons to work together than hate one another. Why should we follow the wrong tendencies?
A war is gradually evolving. It might involve loss of lives of our precious youths and loss of properties of the elders. We must avert it!!
Dearly Respected Patriots, Please rise, rise and halt this unpalatable situation. This is a call to duty.
