Residents of Ogooluwa, a street in Abusoro community, off Ijoka road in Akure, the Ondo State capital on Saturday made partial repair on bad portions, on the major road connecting the street to the main road linking the community to Ijoka.
The residents who were in their scores, used the opportunity of the restriction during this month’s environmental sanitation exercise to make the partial repair.
The residents, led by an ex Chairman in the community, Mr Eniabire filled up the bad portions of the road with sacks filled with sands.
They, however appealed to government to assist in the construction of the road, which is very strategic to the redeemed agenda of the Akeredolu government, as it connects Abusoro community to Oda road en-route Davog junction.
