The Chairman/CEO, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Hon. Dr. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, w, as a Special Guest at the launch of a book titled, ” Number One Mission’ at The Metropolitan Club on Thursday, December 21, 2023.
The book, authored by Mr. Yemi Edun (a Nigerian Diaspora based in the United Kingdom), aims at “exploring the legacy of Nigerian High Commission in the United Kingdom and the importance of diplomacy to any citizenry of any nation.”
The Chairman congratulated the author for the laudable initiative of giving back to the country without any profit-motive; representing and projecting the country’s image positively. She enjoined other Diasporans to emulate him.
She, however, implored the author and other groups to organise seminars on host countries’ culture for Nigerians in Diaspora to run foul of the law.
