Olanrewaju Adepoju, renowned Ewi exponent is dead.
Adepoju died in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital on Sunday.
Precision Online Newspaper gathered that the late broadcaster, 83 and a devoted Muslim will be buried tomorrow Monday.
Online blog, national insights reports that Adepoju, who was born at Oke Pupa , Akufo in Ido local government area of Oyo state worked as a proof reader in People’s Star Press, founded by former Premier of Western Region Late Samuel Ladoke Akintola after which he moved to WNTV and WNBS
While giving an insight in how he learn and developed his talent Adepoju in an interview with Nation Newspaper, said ” I get my poetic inspirations from my father, my grandfather and other knowledgeable members of my family. They used lots of deep words and proverbs to describe so many situations and I somehow saw my family as a great school, where I was first taught use of language.”
