Former minority leader, Ondo State House of Assembly, Honourable Rasheed Elegbeleye has thrown his weight behind People Democratic Party for Akoko North West/ North East House of Representatives candidate,Mr Olalekan Bada.
Elegbeleye said Mr. Olalekan Bada is a grassroots politician with impeccable character and if given the mandate during the bye-election coming up on 3rd February, 2024, his impact will be felt positively in the constituency.
He made the disclosure while addressing ward party chairmen in Ikare Akoko, that they must not relent in supporting the party candidate.
The PDP stalwart reitrated that PDP is a party to beat and with the calibre of personality presented for the election, victory is sure for the party.
Hon. Elegbeleye used the platform to charge the party leaders to go out enmass and canvass to votes for the candidacy of Mr Olalekan Bada so that he can emerge victorious in the coming election.
You will recall that Honorable Elegbeleye was one of the aspirant that vie for the position but stepped down in accordance with party leadership advice.
