A bill for the establishment of Federal College of Nursing and Midwifery in Okeigbo, Ondo State, sponsored by Hon. Festus Adefiranye has passed its second reading on the floor of the House of Representatives.

The bill was introduced on the floor of the house on October 23, 2023 by Hon. Adefiranye, a Member of the House of Representatives representing Ile-oluji/Okeigbo & Odigbo Federal Constituency.

Adebayo Lawrence, SA Media And Publicity to Hon. Adefiranye in a statement on Friday noted that the proposed establishment of the Federal College of Nursing and Midwifery would address the critical need for skilled healthcare professionals in the region and beyond.
