Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman/CEO, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, (NIDCOM) has congratulated Abdur-Rahman Balogun, the Director of Media, Public Relations and Protocols Unit, for winning the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations'(NIPR), maiden National Spokesperson Award for Most Innovative Spokeperson, Diplomatic and Multinational category .
In a statement by Gabriel Odu of Media, Public Relations and Protocols Unit, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, (NIDCOM), quotes the NIDCOM Boss as saying, “this is an award dear to my heart and it is well deserving. It shows that the world is watching and taking notes of all we do and continue to do in our collective engagements with Nigerians in the Diaspora and the global community.”
Dabiri-Erewa urged the Award Recipient not rest on his oars but strife harder in his chosen profession to add value for National development.
The elated Balogun said the award is not for him but dedicated to the leadership styles of Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa who is inspiring and mentoring staff to attain excellence in all spheres of life.
The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, a professional body, was established in 1963 and charted by decree 16 of June, 1990.
The National Spokesperson Awards 2024 maiden edition took place in Abuja.
