As Muslims across Ondo State and Nigeria celebrate Eid-El-Fitri, Hon. Oluwole Emmanuel Ogunmolasuyi, the Majority Leader of the Ondo State House of Assembly, has extended his greetings and best wishes to the Muslim community.
In his message, Hon. Ogunmolasuyi emphasized the importance of peace, unity, and harmony among all Nigerians, irrespective of religious or ethnic differences. He urged Muslims to continue to uphold the values of Ramadan, including love, compassion, and generosity, beyond the holy month.
“The celebration of Eid-El-Fitri is not just a time for merriment but also a time for deep reflection on the teachings of Islam. As we mark the end of Ramadan, let us carry forward the spirit of unity, peace, and empathy that this holy month has instilled in us,” Hon. Ogunmolasuyi stated.
He also called on all Nigerians to pray for the country, especially during these challenging times. “Let us use this occasion to pray fervently for our nation. May the Almighty Allah grant us peace, prosperity, and security. Let us all strive to be instruments of peace and progress in our communities,” he added.
The Majority Leader reaffirmed his commitment to serving the people of Ondo State diligently and called on residents to continue to support the government in its efforts to build a peaceful and prosperous state. Hon. Ogunmolasuyi concluded by wishing all Muslims a joyous Eid-El-Fitri celebration filled with blessings, happiness, and spiritual fulfilment.
Similarly, the Ondo State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (Ondo-NIPR), has congratulated Muslims in the State, as they celebrate the end of the month of Ramadan – a key tenet of their faith that instills the core values of self-discipline, devotion, and humility.

“Considering the beneficial influence that Islam has on the daily lives of millions of people the world over, it is our utmost conviction to state that this season offers everyone of us a chance to consider the significance of religious diversity and liberties our great nation, Nigeria exemplifies.
“Having bolstered our faith via prayers and fasting during this holy month, may this Eid-ul-Fitr bring lots of joy, love, success and prosperity to our lives.”
Also, the Osi Bashorun of Ibadanland, Prince (Dr.) Azeez Popoola Adeduntan has called for more prayers for Nigeria.
Adeduntan in his Eid-el-Fitr message on Tuesday through his media office urged Nigerians to live peacefully with one another and ensure the country remained united as nation building is not a walk in the park.It takes generations.
He said the symbol is specifically obedience and total supplications to Allah adding that people must thank Allah for all they are enjoying in the country.
“We must all live in harmony in this country. We must remain a united Nigeria, likewise pray that Allah grants us abundance.”
He further urged all Nigerians to contribute immensely to the development of the country and prayed for the speedy recovery of the nations economy challenges.
He called on Muslims to learn from the lessons of Ramadan.
“We had in the last 29 days been closer to Almighty Allah in total obedience and supplications.
“On behalf of my family and supporters across the state, NIgeria and the world,I wish you all memorable Eid-el-Fitr celebration.”
