The Honourable Minister of Interior, Hon. (Dr.) Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has joined the people of Ondo State and Nigerians at large in celebrating the 70th birthday of former Governor Olusegun Mimiko, and the birthday of the Ondo State APC Chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimehin.
This was contained in a statement by Mr Babatunde Alao, Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to the Minister.
The Minister praised Dr. Mimiko’s outstanding contributions to Nigeria’s growth and development, particularly his remarkable achievements during his tenure as Governor of Ondo State from 2009 to 2017.
According to the Minister, the former governor’s exemplary leadership and vision transformed the state, and left a lasting legacy.
The Minister also extends warm felicitations to Engr. Ade Adetimehin on his birthday, acknowledging his invaluable political contributions to the development of Ondo State and Nigeria.
“As we celebrate His Excellency Olusegun Mimiko, we recognize his selfless service and unwavering commitment to our great nation,” said the Minister.
“Also, the leadership and charisma of Engr Ade Adetimehin has no doubt made a significant impact on our state and great party’s progress, and we are grateful for his tireless efforts.”
The Ministry of Interior wishes Dr. Olusegun Mimiko a happy 70th birthday and Engr. Ade Adetimehin a joyful birthday, with prayers for good health, wisdom, and continued service to Nigeria.
