APPRECIATION
Dinstinguished colleagues, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the goodwill messages on my first anniversary as the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Ondo State.
I want to sincerely appreciate your support in the last one year without which the modest achievements recorded would have been impossible.
I thank the leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ondo State Council, under our Chairman, Prince Leke Adegbite, for always extending hands of support at every point.
I thank all our senior colleagues for always reaching out to offer pieces of advice and admonition whenever they feel the need to.
I also appreciate the leaderships of all other media groups and platforms. I thank all media organisations that have honoured me with awards during this period.
I am indeed indebted to all the media practitioners in Ondo State for their overwhelming support for me and the administration of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
The last one year has been an experiment which turned out to confirm that with modest efforts the relationship between government and media organizations/practitioners can be a smooth and productive one.
Let me also use this opportunity to apologise to those who may have had one reservation or the other with any of my activities in the last one year. E ma binu.
We look forward to a more productive relationship between the Aiyedatiwa administration and the media in the years ahead.
