A verification exercise to engage 6,000 unemployed youths in Ondo State will commence through out the state on Monday, 19th December, 2016.
It is meant to provide job opportunities for 500,000 youths in Nigeria with 6000 youths from Ondo State to benefit from the programme in different fields including agriculture, health, teaching, artisanship, ICT and others.
A statement signed by Mr Williams Olufunmi of the state’s Ministry of Information noted that the Ondo State Focal Person for the programme, Mrs. Bolanle Olafunmiloye announced that all applicants are to report at their respective local government secretariat across the state by 9a.m on Monday, the 19th of December, 2016, for their verification exercise that will last for three days starting Monday to Wednesday.
The statement further said that the applicants are to come with their credentials to include birth certificate, baptismal card or affidavit of age declaration; valid photo ID and 2 passport photos; national Identity, voter’s card or bio data page of international passport; utility bill; academic certificate and or NYSC certificate.
The statement noted that the exercise is urgent, mandatory and requires prompt attention to ensure that the youths are properly registered and paid their December, 2016 entitlement of N30,000 monthly.
