The federal government has commenced payment of the N30,000 stipend it promised to pay beneficiaries of the N-power programme it flagged off in December.
A tweet by a beneficiary in Abia State, Mr Achibong William with the twitter handle @don2willy read:
“FG fulfills it’s promise on N power Programme, just got alert of December stipend.”
The government had earlier promised to kick start the programme by December 2016 and over 13 states were reported to have conducted verification exercise for beneficiaries of the programme.
