Over 100,000 visas have been revoked in the wake of the Trump administration’s recent travel ban on citizens of seven mainly Muslim countries.
The Washington Post reported the figure, citing a government attorney at a federal court hearing in Virginia.
Recall that US President, Donald Trump had announced the ban on seven muslim countries citing it has measures to contain the spread of terror group in the United States.
Following his ban, rights groups across the world have condemned the action while calling on Trump to revise it in the interest of peace.
However, some of Trump’s supporters believed that the president is only fulfilling his campaign mamdate.
