A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Northern senatorial district of Ondo state, Dr Daodu Igbekele has called on members of the party to allow peace, love and maturity to lead, as it holds her state congress today.
In a telephone chat with THE PRECISION, Dr Igbekele urged members to accept the result of the Congress in good faith, adding that every member of the party will be rewarded in due course.
“As we conduct APC state congress today, let peace and love with maturity be our seed. If you win appreciate the loser, if you are remembered be grateful, if you are fogotten pray and be encouraged, if you are brutalized be patient and forbear,” he said.
While saying that Gods time is the best in politics, the former commissioner in the state enjoined all members of the party to build a strong and mutual relationship after the end of the Congress.
“Gods timing is perfect for all. No wise builder will want his house collapse in his eyes,” Igbekele noted.
