Armed thugs have invaded the venue of the ongoing congress of a faction of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo state.
The congress is being held at the BTO hall in Akure, the state capital where the Isaac Kekemeke led faction of the party had converged to hold the state Congress with delegates across the 18 local governments in the state.
Report says thugs believed to be loyal to the NURTW state chairman, Jacob Adebo popularly known as Idajo are responsible for the fracas.
People including journalists had to scamper for safety despite the presence of the Nigeria security and civil defence corps.
When called by THE PRECISION to speak on the allegation levelled against him, Mr Adebo did not pick his call as at the time of filing this report.
