Akeredolu Greets Akorede On Dual Celebration Of Service To Humanity

The Governor of ondo state, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has described the chief Imam of Akure, Sheikh Abdul Hakeem Akorede as an eminent Cleric whose appetite for pragmatic preaching and approach to solution of problems had engendered harmonious relationship and peaceful co-existence among different religious organizations in the state.

The Governor in his appraisal and Goodwill message personally signed by him, congratulating the Chief Imam on the occasion of his 25 years of Dawah (evangelism) Works and 13 years of Immamate averred Alhaji Akorede belong to the class of Iconic Personalities of rank and distinction worthy of celebration.

The Governor noted that the Chief Imam had never visited his office to solicit personal assistance except for the welfare of his people.

While noting that Imam Akorede is an unbiased enthusiast of his administration ,the Governor also described the Chief Imam as a principled and blunt religious leader who is not afraid to talk where others , because of trepidation, keep silent.

The Governor, while rejoicing with the chief Imam on his 25 years of religious intercession for Mankind,said Imam Akorede has full grasp of the Dynamics of his office as a foremost Imam and had displayed exemplary Competence ,fearless, eloquence , Initiative,zeal,Zest and dedication for the exalted position.

In the same vein, the Senate President, Senator Ahmad Lawan has acknowledged the giant strides the Chief Imam had made over the years.

The Senate President in a statement signed by his Chief of Staff, Babagana Aji described the Chief Imam as an Imam with vast experience and high sense of leadership quality.

Meanwhile, the Chief Imam accompanied by some notable imams within the state on Monday visited less privileged homes, prisons and media houses as parts of activities marking the dual programme.
