As expected, Russia has approved the use of its newly developed coronavirus vaccine.

The Precision NG had reported on July 29 that Russia will announce the new vaccine in two weeks.

Russia called the new coronavirus vaccine ‘Sputnik’.

Moscow added that a billion doses of the new coronavirus vaccine have been ordered by 20 countries.

“My own daughter has been vaccinated with new coronavirus vaccine”, Russian president, Vladimir Putin says.

Reports say the Russian government has not released scientific data pertaining to vaccine trials, hence the efficacy as well as safety of the vaccine is still under question.
