Muslims in Ondo state have rejoiced with the Christian community on the celebration of the Birth of Jesus Christ.
The Chairman, League of Imams & Alfas in the state, Alhaji Ahmad Aladesawe while congratulating the Christians in the state said the time for adherents of the two religions to come together is now.
According to him, Muslims and Christians have many things in common, particularly, the Worship of True One God and existence of a Scripture.
Alhaji Aladesawe therefore urged Christians In the state and beyond to pray for God’s quick intervention on the Country’s insecurity and other challenges facing the country.
The Chairman of the League who is also the Chief Imam of Owo congratulated
Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and his wife, Chief Mrs Betty -Anyawu Akeredolu on the occasion of Christmas and New year celebrations.
