As 2023 general elections are coming nearer and politicians are expressing their interests on various political offices nation wide, a Muslim cleric and the chief Imam of Ogbagi Akoko in Akoko northwest local government area of Ondo state, Sheikh Adamson Arikeuyo has counseled Nigerians to look and seek support for credible leaders and ignore cash and carry office seekers.
The chief Imam appealed to Nigerians to look for corrupt free politician that can put smiles to the faces of downtrodden through welfare policies.
The cleric advised the federal government to re introduce a body that will control the daily galloping inflation that made prices of commodities not stable.
Adamson said this trend had brought untold hardship to majority of Nigerians because of high cost living. He appealed to youths and able bodies in the country to embrace farming as part of efforts to rebrand and rebuild the ailing economy.
The Muslim leader urged Nigerians to always offer objective advice to our leaders and pray for good governance.
