Novak Djokovic’s opportunity to win a record 21st Grand Slam has hit a brick wall as he will be deported from Australia.
Djokovic’s deportation comes after the Federal Court of Australia ruled against the Tennis star on Sunday, upholding the Immigration Minister’s cancellation of the tennis champion’s visa.
Three judges presided over the ruling.
He had earlier been drawn as last match for opening night of the Australian Open, on the assumption his legal bid against deportation is successful.
With his case concluded by a full court of the Federal Court, Djokovic’s opportunity for a further appeal is now impossible.
