The transition of Oba Victor Oluwaseugn Aganun (Iredokun 1), the 19th Olupele of Ipele land, came as a shock as the king was still sound and agile. However, it is understandable that the king has lived a glorious life and has achieved what any royal ruler would have hoped for. Thus, Honourable Oluwole Emmanuel Ogunmolasuyi wishes to celebrate his good life and effort to make Ipele a place of convenience.

Honourable Ogunmolasuyi, the majority leader of the Ondo State House of Assembly, says the king’s role in his emergence and re-election is something he can never forget. While the king was alive, he was a father who praised and criticized individuals when needed. Furthermore, he was a confidant to many people, and the majority leader is grateful to have benefited from his wisdom.

No wonder the late king broke the record as the 1st crowned king to be upgraded to Grade A Class of Council of Obas and the first sitting king to be presented staff of office by the governor.

In solidarity, the majority leader stands with the royal family and Ipele land. The majority leader believes better days are ahead because Oba Victor Oluwasegun Aganun has laid a solid foundation for his successor. In the majority leader’s words, “To the royal family and Ipele indigenes, I am strongly with you. And this time, too, shall pass.”

May the soul of kabiyesi rest in peace.

Signed:
Hon. Oluwole Emmanuel Ogunmolasuyi (WEST)
