The Ondo State Ministry of Environment and National Orientation Agency Ondo State Directorates have embarked on demolition of all illegal structures obstructing free flow of water and even constituting nuisance to the master plan of the State capital.

The Director of Ondo NOA Mrs Adelayo Adefolalu and the Honourable Commissioner for Environment, Hon.Sunday Akinwalire led combine team of State task force, waste management authority, ZL global alliance and other security agents to enforce compliance and to ensure that stalls, kiosk and sheds located on covered walkways along major roads were demolished or removed.
This move becomes imperative with the recent continued alert by NIMET on the possibility of more flooding within the country and Ondo State been a vulnerable State.
