The Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON), Ondo state chapter has sympathised with the leader of Pan Yoruba group, Afenifere, Pa Reuben Fasoranti following the death of his daughter, Mrs Olufunke Olakunrin who was murdered by yet to be identified Gunmen last week Friday along Kajola-Ore road.
A statement signed by the Chairman of Ondo state ALGON and Chairman, Ifedore LGA, Hon Alex Oladimeji, described the death of Mrs Olakunrin as unfortunate, adding that the Nigerian Police must up their game in securing the highways.

“We at Ondo state ALGON want to express our sincere sympathy with Pa Fasoranti over the death of his daughter, Mrs Olufunke Olakunrin.
“This is an unfortunate incident which has further create an atmosphere of fear among our people.
“The Police must unravel the perpetrators of this barbaric act and must be brought to book.
“To this end, we want to task our security forces on the need to secure our highways from the Marauders who have infiltrated our communities,” the association Chairman said.
