As the Governor of Ondo State, Dr Olusegun Mimiko clocks 62 on Monday 3rd October, 2016, about 3,000 youths across the state will converge on the International Events Centre – The Dome in Akure to celebrate him.
The youths under the aegis of Orange Youth Network will used the opportunity of the event to inaugurate the state and local government executives of the organization, while also commemorating the 62nd Birthday of Governor Olusegun Mimiko (CON), on whose political ideology and philosophy the group was founded.
The Director General of the group and human rights lawyer, Mr Kayode Ajulo said the establishment of the movement is aimed at grooming young and emerging leaders to imbibe the culture of hardwork, resilience, perseverance, humility, good governance and modern politics which Mimiko epitomizes.
“Former Governor of Old Ondo state, Evangelist Bamidele Olumilua will chair the event, while the Chief Press Secretary to the Ondo State Governor, Eni Akinsola, will deliver a lecture on the topic “The Man Mimiko.” Ajulo said.
