Member representing Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and the Deputy Chairman House Committee on Army, Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye has awarded scholarship to 44 students in his constituency.
Adefisoye, who is the only member of Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the House of Representatives has also promptly released fund for the payment of second term school fees of all the scholarship beneficiaries in both Idanre and Ifedore Local Government Areas.
A statement by his media aide, Yemi Fasipe noted that some of the schools where payments for the scholarship awardees have been already effected are Pragmatic Group of Schools, Idanre; Amazing Grace Group of Schools, Idanre; Sliverbird Nursery and Primary school, Idanre; Lizzyland Group of Schools, Idanre road, Akure; Ebunoluwa Group of Schools, Atosin Idanre; and Success Nursery and Primary School, Atosin Idanre.

Similarly, payment of school fees of all the scholarship beneficiaries in Ifedore Local Government Area has also been effected. The scholarship beneficiaries in Ifedore were selected from eight different private schools where the needful has already been done as regards payment of their second term school fees.
Meanwhile, beneficiaries of the scholarship in rural areas across the two local government of the federal constituency have also benefited from payment of their school fees by Adefisoye.
In his response, Hon. Adefisoye said his commitment of financial support to students in his constituency was beyond politics.
” Awarding scholarship to students is what I have been doing even before I became a politician. This is more of helping students that are academically gifted to make the best out of their potentials. We have also adopted the strategy of making direct payment to various schools of all the beneficiaries to make the scheme effective and serve its purpose. My promise is to that stay resolutely committed to this scholarship scheme for as long as possible”, said Adefisoye.
