Oxford University professor of Vaccinology; Sarah Gilbert, who is working on getting the Covid-19 vaccine has assured that the vaccine she has created will work.
As at now, the UK has put €210m into an International fund for the development of a vaccine.
Professor Gilbert and her team are not the only one working to get a vaccine for Covid-19 but in her words she is 80% confident that her vaccine will work due to the other things that have been done with the type of vaccine.
The London Times quoted her, thus:

“there’s a high chance that it will work based on other things that we have done with this type of vaccine.”
“It’s not just a hunch and as every week goes by we have more data to look at. I would go for 80%, that’s my personal view.
However this vaccine is yet to be tried on human.
