Police say they have arrested some suspected killers of Christopher Dega, a Senior Special Assistant on Security to the Governor of Benue State, Samuel Orton.
Dega was killed in Jos, Plateau state capital.
“Some suspects have been arrested. Meanwhile, the investigation is ongoing,” a statement from the police read in parts.
The late Dega hailed from Katsina Ala Local Government Area of Benue State.
He was once in the Nigerian Police Force where he served as a two-time Commissioner of Police in Borno and Edo states.
