Akogun Adetokunbo Modupe on Monday emerged the Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for Ondo North Senatorial District ahead of the 2023 general election.
He won the party’s primary held in Owo where delegates from six local governments namely Akoko Northeast, Akoko Northwest, Akoko Southwest, Akoko Southeast, Ose and Owo, participated
Akogun Modupe scored 124 votes to beat his main rival, Prince Adefemi who scored 93 votes while one voted was voided.
